About SkillNex
SkillNex is a B2B SaaS platform that covers three interconnected areas: internship management for education institutions, training management system (TMS) operations for training providers and lifelong learning institutes, and corporate learning for enterprise HR and L&D teams. It is designed to reduce administrative overhead, improve programme visibility, and connect stakeholders — students, employers, learners, trainers, and administrators — in one platform.
SkillNex serves polytechnics, universities, private education institutions (PEIs), SkillsFuture-registered training providers, continuing education institutes, and enterprise organisations running structured learning and development programmes.
SkillNex covers training operations and management — similar to an LMS — but with stronger operational workflows for grant administration, internship management, attendance, billing, and compliance. It is best described as a unified skills and learning operations platform rather than a content-only LMS.
Yes. SkillNex is purpose-built for Singapore's education and training ecosystem, with built-in support for SkillsFuture, SSG, and TPG grant administration workflows.
Internship Management
SkillNex manages the full internship lifecycle — from employer sourcing and job listing to AI-powered student matching, resume feedback, application tracking, placement oversight, supervisor evaluations, and completion reporting. It provides separate portals for students, employers, and academic coordinators.
SkillNex analyses student profiles — including skills, academic background, and programme requirements — and matches them to available employer roles that align with those attributes. Coordinators can review and adjust matches before they are confirmed.
Yes. Employers access a dedicated portal to post roles, review student applications, shortlist candidates, submit evaluations, and communicate with academic coordinators.
Training Management System
A TMS manages the operational and administrative side of running training programmes — enrolment, scheduling, attendance, assessments, grant processing, billing, and reporting. It differs from an LMS, which focuses primarily on content delivery.
